Die frühesten Lithografien des Landschafts- und Architekturmalers Carl Friedrich Heinrich Werner (Weimar 1808 - 1894 Leipzig). - Thieme-B. XXXV, 404. - Im Jahr 1733 wurde das Schloss Eythra von Georg von Werther dem Älteren zu einem barocken, dreiflügeligen Komplex umgebaut. Im Jahr 1819 erwarb der Leipziger Tuch- und Wollkaufmann sowie Kammerrat David Anger Eythra. Er war es, der Werner mit der Anfertigung der Lithografien beauftragte. - Die Lithografien sind auf starkem Papier gedruckt, insgesamt schönes und gut erhaltenes Exemplar im Original-Verlagszustand.

The earliest lithographs by the landscape and architectural painter Carl Friedrich Heinrich Werner (Weimar 1808-1894 Leipzig). - Thieme-B. XXXV, 404. - In 1733, Georg von Werther the Elder had Eythra Castle rebuilt into a Baroque, three-winged complex. In 1819, David Anger, a Leipzig cloth and wool merchant and chamber councilor, acquired Eythra. It was he who commissioned Werner to produce the lithographs. - The lithographs are printed on heavy paper, overall, a beautiful and well-preserved copy in its original publisher's condition.
