Geographie und Reisen – Ergebnis einer im Jahr 1850 durchgeführten wissenschaftlichen Vermessung für den Bau einer geplanten Eisenbahnlinie zwischen dem Atlantischen und dem Pazifischen Ozean. Die Lithos zeigen verschiedene Ansichten, Landschaften, Dörfer etc. - Ehemaliges Bibl.-Expl. mit mehreren Blindstempeln. Teils etwas stockfleckig, meist durch das Schutzpapier.

The lithographs depict various views, landscapes, villages, etc. - Former library copy with several blind stamps. Some slight foxing, mostly visible through the protective paper. - Partial leather binding with a gilt title label (slightly scuffed initials with missing parts).
