Wappenexlibris auf Innendeckel (mit einem Hasen). - Gebräunt und etwas stockfleckig, teils mit kleinen Wurmspuren, Vorsatz mit wenigen Krakeleien und kleiner Fehlstelle. Ohne die separat erschienene Continatio.

Prints before 1600, Bibles, Classics in Original Languages – Theology. - History. - Cont. vellum with overhanging edges (handwritten in black and red on parchment (Vulgate fragment)) (slightly stained and scuffed, edges bumped, with small tears and creases). - First edition of this rare work. - VD 16 R 2233 - Schottenloher 34176 - Not in the BL, listed in Adams et al. - (Stabi Berlin, "War Loss"). - Edited by Georg Nigrinus with his annotations. - Woodcuts depicting the Creation, Adam and Eve, the Flood, and the Tower of Babel. - Probably from the collection of Johann Michael Haas, with his signature on the endpaper and (his?) coat-of-arms ex-libris on the inside cover (featuring a hare). - Tanned and somewhat foxed, with some minor wormholes in places, endpaper has a few cracks and a small missing section. Without the separately published *Continatio*.
