Hier handelt es sich um die (erste?) deutsche Übertragung der Gradual-Dissertation des Hamburger Gelehrten Lucas Langermann "De jure in curia mercatorum usitatio". Bedeutendes Kompendium zum frühneuzeitlichen Wechselrecht und Handelsrecht aus der Feder des Juristen Johann Maximilian Raumburger, J.U.D.. Das umfangreiche Werk stellt vergleichend die Rechte und Gewohnheiten des Heiligen Römischen Reiches sowie weiterer europäischer Königreiche und Staaten in Wechsel- und Kommerziensachen dar und behandelt sowohl den Land- als auch den Seehandel. Es zählt zu den grundlegenden Quellen der frühen deutschen und europäischen Handelsrechtsgeschichte und wird bis heute in der wirtschaftshistorischen Forschung zum Wechselrecht und zur Entwicklung des Kreditverkehrs herangezogen. Frankfurter Druck aus der Offizin von Wolfgang Christoph Mulz aus dem Jahr 1723, versehen mit einem gestochenen Autorenporträt als Schmuckelement. The extensive work presents a comparative account of the laws and customs of the Holy Roman Empire and other European kingdoms and states in matters of exchange and commerce, covering both overland and maritime trade. It ranks among the foundational sources for the early history of German and European commercial law and continues to be consulted today in economic-historical research on exchange law and the development of credit transactions. A Frankfurt printing from the workshop of Wolfgang Christoph Mulz, dated 1723, adorned with an engraved author's portrait.
