Photographie - Photographen – Das Portrait zeigt Lajos Kassák (1887-1967) zu Hause, vier Jahre vor seinem Tod. Kassák war Dichter, Maler und Herausgeber und gilt als "Vater der ungarischen Avantgarde". Er gab ab 1915 die Zeitschrift "A Tett" und ab 1916 "MA" heraus. Im Zuge des Verbots seiner literarischen Werke in den 1950er Jahren wandte er sich wieder der Malerei zu und schuf großformatige abstrakte Collagen. Der Photograph József Hunyady (Pécs 1921 - Budapest 1983) war hauptberuflich Schriftsteller und Journalist. Er schrieb unter anderem für "Képes Újság", "Pajtás" und "Népszava". Nebenbei arbeitete er als Amateurphotograph und hielt viele Schriftsteller, Schauspieler und Künstler seiner Zeit fest. Aufnahmen Kassáks von 1963 aus seiner Hand sind auch im Fortepan-Archiv nachgewiesen. Am Rand mit einkopiertem kleinen Loch, wohl von einer Heftvorrichtung. - Gering knitterig, sonst wohlerhalten.

Kassák was a poet, painter and editor, and he is regarded as the "father of the Hungarian avant-garde." From 1915 he published the journal "A Tett," and from 1916 "MA." After his literary works were banned in the 1950s, he returned to painting and created large-format abstract collages. The photographer József Hunyady (Pécs 1921 - Budapest 1983) was primarily a writer and journalist. Among other publications, he wrote for "Képes Újság," "Pajtás" and "Népszava." He also worked as an amateur photographer and captured many writers, actors and artists of his time. Photographs of Kassák from 1963 by his hand are also documented in the Fortepan archive. - Small hole at the edge copied from the original, probably from a drawing pin. - Minor creasing, otherwise well preserved.
