Albumen and silver gelatin prints. - Partially with handwritten notes on the reverse. - The photographs depict local people and villages, including Sultan Bhangele, Same (Tanzania), Wagogo warriors (Bantu), Zanzibar, Urundi, 'Tanganika people' (Tanganyika) (Carl Vicenti Dar es Salaam with his blind stamp), Kismani, Wilhelmstal (on the reverse with a dedication by Hugo Hönemann in memory of the hunt), portraits and family photographs of local people by A. Monteiro Dar es Salaam and J.P. Fernandes (with stamp), German colonial troops in Togo, 2 photographs of Western men in white at a table (each with stamp of 'Coutinho Bros Dar es Salaam' and handwritten dedication signed 'Förster'), warthog (stamp: J.P.
