Modern Literature and Art – Rare issues from the touring exhibition of the Deutscher Werkbund. The exhibition is regarded as the most epoch-making event in the history of modern photography and media. It marks the worldwide breakthrough of "New Vision" (Neues Sehen) and of functional avant-garde photography. The illustrations include photographs by Herbert Bayer, Edward Weston, Eugène Atget, El Lissitzky, A. M. Rodchenko, L. Moholy-Nagy, Anne Biermann, and others.
