Die dort enthaltenen Farbtafeln und Federzeichnungen gelten bis heute als Meilensteine der Buchkunst. Nielsens Stil war seiner Zeit radikal modern, eine Verschmelzung von Jugendstil und japan. The color plates and pen-and-ink drawings it contains are still considered milestones in the art of book design. Nielsen's style was radically modern for its time, a fusion of Art Nouveau and Japanese woodblock prints. - Another color plate by the artist from a different illustrated work is included.
