Je Tusche, Gouache und Farbstift auf leichtem, weissen Papier, dieses meist auf schwarze Kartons montiert. 17,2 x 10,7 cm bis 42 x 29,6 cm. Meist im Druck signiert mit verschied. Markenzeichen. Hln. d. Zt. recto mit mont. ("Linea Est") und verso mit hs. Deckeltit. (in den Gelenken eingerissen, berieben).

Moderne Literatur und Kunst – Unikatäre Mappe mit Entwürfen für exzentrische Damenkleider, phantastische Kostüme für Bühne und Maskenbälle. - Die farbenfrohen und formverspielten Zeichnungen des Wiener Designers Ernst Strasser zeigen meist strukturierte, mitunter auch stufig silhouettierte, Kleidungsstücke, oft mit exzentrischen Accessoires wie Stehkragen, Kopfbedeckungen, Federboas und Fransenwerk, gestaltet mit geometrischen Mustern (z.B. griech. Mäander) oder mit dem Stilvokabular des Art Déco und mit der typischen postmodernen Attitüde der 1980er-Jahre. Die meisten der interessanten Entwürfe im Druck signiert "Ernst Strasser" und abwechselnd mit den Markenzeichen "Studios Est", "CAS", "crystal art studio", einer der Entwürfe mit Wiener Adresse und Telefonnummer des Künstlers. - Mehrere der Blätter in den oberen und unteren weißen Rändern mit Montagespuren, insgesamt gut erhaltenes Rarissimum, eine reiche Inspirationsquelle für Modedesigner.

Modern Literature and Art – Fashion. - A unique portfolio containing 20 original drawings in gouache, colour pen and ink for eccentric ladies' dresses and fantastical costumes for the stage and masked balls. - The colourful and whimsically shaped drawings by the Viennese designer Ernst Strasser mostly depict structured garments, some with tiered silhouettes, often featuring eccentric accessories such as stand-up collars, headwear, feather boas and fringing, designed with geometric patterns (e.g. Greek meander) or in the Art Deco style, and reflecting the typical postmodern attitude of the 1980s. Most of these interesting designs are signed 'Ernst Strasser' in print and, alternately, bear the trademarks 'Studios Est', 'CAS' and 'crystal art studio'. One of the drawings includes the artist's Viennese address and telephone number in print. - Several sheets with traces of mounting in the upper and lower white margins, overall, a well-preserved rarity and rich source of inspiration for fashion designers.
