Beitragende Künstler waren u.a. Innere Gelenke tls. angebrochen. Insgesamt sehr saubere und gut erhaltene Sammlung.

Henry. - Includes labels from A. Makrocki Rare English Books and, in some instances, publisher's stamps. Also bears the stamp of the Düsseldorf University Library. - The Yellow Book was a leading periodical of the British 1890s, strongly associated with Aestheticism and Decadence, and often featuring sexually daring content. It encompassed a wide range of literary and artistic genres, including poetry, short stories, essays, book illustrations, portraits, and reproductions of paintings. Aubrey Beardsley served as the magazine's first art editor. Contributors included such notable figures as John Singer Sargent, Walter Sickert, Philip Wilson Steer, Henry James, H. G. Wells, and William Butler Yeats. Although Oscar Wilde never published in The Yellow Book, he was associated with the magazine because Beardsley had illustrated his Salomé and because he was friends with many of the contributors. - Edges slightly browned, some foxing present. Inner hinges partially cracked. Overall, a very clean and well-preserved collection.
