Sammlung von 3 maschinenschriftlichen Briefen mit eigenhändiger Unterschrift des Schrifstellers (1903-1989) an den Verleger Karl Rauch in Bad Salzig. Amsterdam, 10. u. 12. Jan. sowie 6. März 1950. Je 1 S. auf 1 Bl. (ca. 28 x 21,5 cm).

Autographen – Betrifft die Ablehung Rauchs einer Herausgabe der Werke von Pascoaes ("der Verleger, der diesen Dichter herausbringt, muss der Leidenschaft fähig sein, ihn auch durchzusetzen gegen eine Welt von ablehnenden Haltungen. Meulenhoff hier hat diese Eigenschaft, Rascher aber wieder nicht...") und Thelens Napoleon-Übersetzung ("Ich möchte es ... in seiner Absurdität genial nennen"). - Jeweils gelocht, mit Faltspuren u. in der oberen linken Ecke abgezeichnet, tls. papierbedingt gebräunt, 1 Bl. mit wenigen kl. Randläsuren, insg. gut erhalten.

Autographs – Collection of 3 typewritten letters signed by the author (1903-1989) to the publisher Karl Rauch in Bad Salzig. - Concerns Rauch's refusal to publish the works of Pascoaes and Thelen's translation of Pascoaes's Napoleon. - Each punched, with foldmarks and marked by hand in the upper left corner, partly browned due to paper, 1 sheet with a few small marginal defects, overall well preserved.
