3 Arbeiten. Landschaftsdarstellungen. Um 1925. Je Lithographie auf Velin, 1 Blatt auf JWZanders-Velin (m.Wz.). 39 x 30,5 bis 45 x 53 cm (Blattgröße). Je signiert. - Teilweise leicht gegilbt bzw. leicht gebräunt, leicht knickspurig, 2 Blatt mit Nadellöchlein in den Ecken, 1 Blatt mit vereinzelten Wasserflecken und wenigen kleinen Einrissen (ca. 2 cm) im oberen und unteren Rand, tls. mit geringem Papierverlust, leicht gewellt in Rändern. Insgesamt gut. Durchweg hervorragende Drucke der expressiven Darstellungen, jeweils mit breitem Rand.

Online - Moderne und zeitgenössische Kunst – Ima Breusing (1902-1986) gehört zu den Künstlerinnen der Berliner Moderne. Ihre Ausbildung erhielt sie am Bauhaus, wo sie u. a. bei Johannes Itten studierte und sich mit den zentralen Fragen von Form, Farbe und Material auseinandersetzte. Auf dieser Grundlage entwickelte sie eine eigenständige künstlerische Position, die sich sowohl in freier Grafik als auch in kunstgewerblichen Arbeiten niederschlug. In Berlin war Breusing eng in das künstlerische Netzwerk der Zeit eingebunden. Sie war Mitglied im Verein der Berliner Künstlerinnen, einer der wichtigsten Institutionen zur Förderung von Künstlerinnen seit dem späten 19. Jahrhundert, und nahm regelmäßig an Ausstellungen teil. Ab 1935 übernahm sie die Leitung. Ihr Stil bewegt sich zwischen Bauhaus-geprägter Formklarheit und einer stärker zeichnerisch-figurativen Auffassung. Breusings Werk steht exemplarisch für eine Generation von Künstlerinnen, die zwischen Avantgarde und institutionellen Strukturen agierten und deren Beitrag zur Kunstentwicklung der ersten Hälfte des 20. Jahrhunderts heute zunehmend wieder gewürdigt wird.

Each signed. - Partially slightly yellowed or browned, slight creasing, two works with tiny pinholes in the corners, 1 work with scattered water stains and few small tears ( ca. 2 cm) in the upper and lower margin, partly with small loss of paper, slightly buckled in margins, all in all good. Throughout excellent impressions, each with wide margin. - Ima Breusing (1902-1986) is one of the leading female artists of Berlin Modernism. She received her training at the Bauhaus, where she studied under Johannes Itten, among others, and explored the central questions of form, color, and material. Building on this foundation, she developed a distinctive artistic voice that found expression in both fine art prints and applied art. In Berlin, Breusing was closely integrated into the artistic network of the time. She was a member of the Association of Berlin Women Artists, one of the most important institutions for the promotion of women artists since the late 19th century, and regularly participated in exhibitions. Her style oscillates between Bauhaus-influenced formal clarity and a more drawing-based, figurative approach. Breusing's work exemplifies a generation of female artists who operated between the avant-garde and institutional structures, and whose contribution to the development of art in the first half of the 20th century is increasingly being recognized today.
