Weiblicher Rückenakt. 1930er Jahre. Aquarell und Faserstift auf festem Velin. 26 x 14,6 cm. Verso bezeichnet. Punktuell auf Unterlage montiert und im Passepartout freigestellt. - Verso leicht fleckig. Insgesamt sehr gut, leuchtende Aquarellierung.

Online - Moderne und zeitgenössische Kunst – Intimes Rückenportrait einer jungen Frau vor abstraktem Grund. Willi Hertlein studiert an den Vereinigten Staatsschulen für freie und angewandte Kunst in Berlin bei Emil Orlik und unternimmt Studienreisen nach Paris und Italien. Wie im vorliegenden Werk erkennbar ist, bewegt sich Hertlein in den 1930er Jahren stilistisch im Umfeld der Neuen Sachlichkeit.
Online - Modern and Contemporary Art – Watercolour and fibre-tip pen on sturdy vellum. Signed on the verso. Partially mounted on a backing board and framed with a mat. - Slight staining on the verso. Overall very good condition, vibrant watercolour. - An intimate, back portrait of a young woman against an abstract background. Willi Hertlein studied at the United State Schools of Fine and Applied Arts in Berlin under Emil Orlik and undertook study trips to Paris and Italy. As can be seen in this work, Hertlein's style in the 1930s was influenced by the New Objectivity movement.
