Abstrakte Komposition. 1970er Jahre. Aquarell und Faserstift auf Velin. 11 x 14,2 cm. Signiert.

Online - Modern and Contemporary Art – Watercolour and pen on vellum. Signed. Partially mounted on backing board and framed with passe-partout. - Slight traces of studio use on the reverse. Overall in very good condition. An atmospheric and colour-rich work. - Due to the artist's cropping of the work, the sheet is not rectangular. - From 1932, Albert Hennig studied under Josef Albers at the Bauhaus in Dessau. Influenced by his friendship with Max Schwimmer, the artist first turned to the technique of watercolour in 1949, which soon became his preferred artistic medium. Our small-format drawing reveals, beneath the colour-rich watercolour wash, a pictorial composition that unfolds freely yet is structured by the line.
