Femme enlevant sa chemise. 1968. Kaltnadelradierung auf festem Velin. 21,2 x 15,5 cm. (23,6 x 17,5 cm). - Verso mit Montageresten. Partiell kaum merkliche Oberflächenbereibung. Insgesamt sehr gut. Prachtvoller, gratiger Druck mit feiner Tonigkeit sowie schmalen Rand. Rechts mit Schöpfrand versehen.

Online - Moderne und zeitgenössische Kunst – Lioré-Cailler 1442. Erschienen 1968 als originales Frontispiz in der zweiseitigen Festschrift "Humanisme actif: mélanges d'art et de littérature offerts à Julien Cain" bei Hermann, Paris. Gedruckt wurde das Blatt in einer limitierten Auflage für die Buchausgabe, im Anschluss wurde die Druckplatte gestrichen. Die Kaltnadelradierung entstand motivisch bereits im Jahr 1954, von der ursprünglich jedoch nur 2 bis 3 Abzüge angefertigt wurden, bevor 1968 der Druck von der verkleinerten Platte für die Edition erfolgte.

Splendid, rich impression with fine burr and delicate plate tone, with narrow margins. Deckle edge on the right. Published in 1968 as an original frontispiece in the two-volume festschrift "Humanisme actif : mélanges d'art et de littérature offerts à Julien Cain" by Hermann, Paris. The sheet was printed in a limited edition for the publication, after which the plate was canceled. The drypoint composition was originally executed in 1954, from which only 2 or 3 proofs were pulled before the print from the reduced plate was made for the 1968 edition.
