Online - Moderne und zeitgenössische Kunst – Der nordamerikanische Künstler Emmett Williams zählt neben John Cage, George Maciunas, Nam June Paik, Wolf Vostell, George Brecht und Joseph Beuys zu den aktivsten Vertretern der Fluxusbewegung. Ihre Protagonisten suchten die Kunst zu demokratisieren und verbanden Aktion und Dichtung, Malerei und Musik zum Gesamtkunstwerk. Das vorliegende Werk entsteht in seinem vierten Jahr in der Wahlheimat Berlin.

A splendid, vibrantly coloured impression. - The North American artist Emmett Williams is considered, alongside John Cage, George Maciunas, Nam June Paik, Wolf Vostell, George Brecht, and Joseph Beuys, one of the most active representatives of the Fluxus movement. Its protagonists sought to democratize art and combined performance and poetry, painting and music into a total work of art. The present work was created during his fourth year in his adopted home of Berlin.
