Online - Moderne und zeitgenössische Kunst – Das vorliegende Blatt entstand im Jahr von Winfred Gauls Teilnahme an der documenta II, auf der als einer der führenden Protagonisten des deutschen Informel mit mehreren Arbeiten vertreten war. Rhytmisch gereihte Diagonalstriche in Rot, Ocker und Braun verdichten sich zu einem energetisch aufgeladenen Kern und erzeugen einen Schwingungsrhytmus, der auf Gauls zeitgleich entstehende "Farbmanuskripte" Bezug nimmt und den Wechsel zwischen gestischer Entladung und aufkommender struktureller Disziplin formuliert.

Overall, in very good condition. - This work was created in the year Winfred Gaul took part in documenta II, where he was represented with several works as one of the leading figures of the German Informel movement. Rhythmically arranged diagonal strokes in red, ochre and brown converge to form an energetically charged core, creating a rhythmic vibration that references Gaul's 'colour manuscripts' produced at the same time and articulates the alternation between gestural release and emerging structural discipline.
