Zeitgenössische Kunst – In variantereicher Wiederholung fängt Liebchen in ihrem künstlerischen Werk Frauenfiguren in alltäglichen Bewegungen ein. Zumeist in Rückenansicht oder, wie in vorliegender Arbeit, in verlorenem Profil dargestellt, suggerieren sie eine besondere Stimmung, die von Stille und kraftvollem Ausdruck zugleich bestimmt ist. Sie scheinen dem Alltagsmoment entrissen und in sich gekehrt, und doch treten sie mit dem Betrachter in Dialog. Sie entführen ihn in ihre Welt und lassen für einen Moment die Zeit stehen.

Spot-mounted to underlying mat and framed under glass (unopened). - Very isolated, very slight handling trace, all in all seemingly very good. - Through varied repetitions, Liebchen captures female figures in everyday movements in her artistic work. Depicted mostly from behind or, as in this work, in a lost profile, they evoke a unique atmosphere characterized by both stillness and powerful expression. They seem torn from the moment of everyday life and turned inward, yet they enter into a dialogue with the viewer. They draw the viewer into their world and, for a moment, make time stand still.
