Tele schwarz-weiß-rosa-gelb. 1970. Farbserigraphie auf Velin. 40 x 40 cm (60 x 44 cm). Signiert, datiert und nummeriert. Unter Passepartout montiert. - Verso montagespurig. Vereinzelt leichte Oberflächenbereibung. Blatt altersbedingt etwas gegilbt. Vereinzelt kleine Braunflecken. Insgesamt guter Zustand. Prachtvolle und kontrastreiche Komposition mit klarer Farb- und Flächenstruktur.

ZERO – Vgl.: Rottloff 76. Eines von 100 Exemplaren. - Otto Piene entwickelte seit den 1950er Jahren eine auf Licht, Farbe und Energie ausgerichtete Arbeitsweise im Kontext der ZERO-Bewegung. Seine Arbeiten sind geprägt von seriellen Strukturen und einer reduzierten Formensprache. In den Farbserigraphien zeigt sich besonders sein Interesse an klar gegliederten Farbflächen und optischer Intensität.

One of 100 copies. - From the 1950s onwards, Otto Piene developed an artistic practice focused on light, colour and energy within the context of the ZERO movement. His works are characterised by serial structures and a reduced formal language. In his colour screenprints, his particular interest in clearly articulated colour fields and optical intensity becomes especially evident.
