Der Karlsruher Künstlers studiert in den 1970er Jahren an der Hochschule für Bildene Künste Braunschweig bei Hermann Albert und Alfred Winter-Rust Malerei und ist später als Professor an der Hochschule der Künste in Stuttgart tätig.

Overall in very good condition, colors fresh. - The present drawing is characteristic of Peter Chevalier's oeuvre in both its coloration and simple formal language, whose repetition creates a striking visual intensity. The Karlsruhe-born artist studied painting in the 1970s at the Braunschweig University of Fine Arts under Hermann Albert and Alfred Winter-Rust, and later taught as a professor at the Stuttgart State Academy of Art and Design.
