Online - Moderne und zeitgenössische Kunst – Der spanische Künstler Víctor Mira wandert 1968 nach Deutschland aus, wo er sich in den 1990er Jahren intensiv mit der Verbindung von bildender Kunst und Musik auseinandersetzt. Es entsteht so eine umfangreiche Reihe von Arbeiten, die auf der fünften Sinfonie Beethovens basieren und ausschließlich in den Farben Gelb, Schwarz und Rot dargestellt sind.

A work rich in colour, with deckle edge on all sides. - The Spanish artist Víctor Mira emigrated to Germany in 1968, where, in the 1990s, he explored the connection between visual art and music in depth. This resulted in an extensive series of works based on Beethoven's Fifth Symphony and rendered exclusively in the colours yellow, black and red.
