3 Arbeiten. Ballspiel, im Ferienlager, Seilspringen. 1966/1969. Je Radierung auf Velin. 43 x 28 cm bis 32 x 43 cm. (37 x 48 cm - 57 x 43,5 cm). 2 Blätter unter Passepartout montiert. Teilweise braunfleckig und leicht gegilbt, teils im Passepartoutausschnitt nachgedunkelt. Vereinzelt leichte Oberflächenbereibung. 1 Blatt recto mit Montagespuren. Insgesamt gut. Gratige, ausdrucksstarke Drucke mit Plattenrand und breitem Rand.

Online - Moderne und zeitgenössische Kunst – Christel Blume-Benzler zählt zu den Leipziger Künstlerinnen der Nachkriegszeit. Nach ihrem Studium an der Hochschule für Grafik und Buchkunst Leipzig bei Walter Arnold, Max Schwimmer und Kurt Masslow war sie als Malerin und Grafikerin tätig und von 1952 bis 1990 Mitglied des Verbands Bildender Künstler der DDR. Ihr grafisches Werk ist geprägt von einer bewegten, sicher geführten Linie, figürlichen Szenen und einem besonderen Interesse an Alltag, Spiel und menschlicher Bewegung.

Occasional minor surface abrasions. 1 sheet with traces of mounting recto. Overall in good condition. Excellent impressions with rich burr, plate mark and wide margins. - Christel Blume-Benzler was one of the Leipzig women artists of the post-war period. After studying at the Academy of Fine Arts Leipzig, she worked as a painter and graphic artist. Her graphic oeuvre is characterized by a lively, assured line, figurative scenes and a particular interest in everyday life, play and human movement.
