Punktuell unter Passepartout montiert. - Mittig mit einem weinigen Löchlein, leicht knickspurig, oben links unter dem Passepartout mit einem kleinen Riss, verso mit dezenten Flecken und Rückständen ehemaliger Montierung. Insgesamt gut. Die Farben leuchtend.

Partially mounted beneath passe-partout. - A tiny hole in the centre, slight creasing, a small tear at the top left beneath the passe-partout, on the verso subtle stains and residues from previous mounting. Overall in good condition. The colours are vibrant. - This work belongs to the early oeuvre of the Hamburg artist, who trained as a master student of Willy von Beckerath. Following extended travels through France, England and the Orient, he developed a visual language in which influences of Surrealism are combined with elements of New Objectivity.
