Modern Literature and Art – A magnificent contemporary crackle-effect binding created using the paste-resist technique, featuring vibrant iridescent shades of Green, Black, Brown and Reddish colour with longitudinal, partially curved gold-embossed lines by Dave Clark, Highland Binder. 8vo. In a lined slipcase with gilding. - A magnificent contemporary crackle-effect cover created using the paste-resist technique, whose delicately cracked surface texture plays vividly with light and shadow. The luminous, iridescent shades of green, black, and brown lend the volume an almost mineral-like depth, evoking weathered stone or a precious patina. Longitudinal, partly curved gold-embossed lines and dots create sparkling accents and dynamically guide the eye across the covers. This creates a dynamic interplay between strict verticality and organic movement. Dave Clark's work, Highland Binder, combines masterful craftsmanship with contemporary artistic design.
