Liegender, weiblicher Akt. Berlin, 1930. Aquarell auf Velin. 47,5 x 63,5 cm. Signiert und datiert, verso mit Vermerk. - An den Rändern mit dezenten Reiß- und Knickspuren, sowie im unteren Bereich mit einer horizontalen Knickfalte, verso atelierspurig und mit leichten Spuren ehemaliger Montierung. Insgesamt sehr gut. In frischem Kolorit gehaltene Komposition.

Signed and dated, with a note on the reverse. - Slight tears and creases along the edges, and a horizontal crease in the lower section, studio marks on the reverse and slight traces of former mounting. Overall very good. A composition rendered in fresh colours. - Art-historically, this work can be classified as Art Deco, a style in which the depiction of stylised female figures is central. The reclining female nude is depicted here in a relaxed pose, combining geometric clarity with ornamental delicacy. The watercolour execution, with its fine colour gradations and subtle shading, reinforces the harmonious composition and emphasises light, line and form in a characteristic manner.
