Moderne Literatur und Kunst – Series-B, no. 22. - Erste Ausgabe, seltener Druck auf besonderem Papier für Einband und Druck. - Das Papier des Einbandes heißt gewöhnlich "Fusuma"-Papier, weil es meistens bei den Fusuma, d. h. den inneren Schiebetüren verwendet wird. Das hier speziell benutzte Papier heißt "Torinoko '' und ist mit einem in Lack gemalten Muster verwendet worden. Das Torinoko Papier ist ein besonderes Produkt von Echizen (Provinz Fukui) im nördlichen Japan. Das Papier des Textes heißt "Shigarami~Oami", so genannt nach dem Ort seiner Herstellung in Central Japan. Es ist ausschließlich von Papiermaulheer hergestellt, auf dem Schnee im Winter gebleicht und reine Handarbeit. Dieses Paier ist berühmt, weil es nur von den Sanadas benutzt wurde, den Feudalherren während der Tokugawazeit, die alle ihre Familiendokumente auf diesem Papier schreiben ließen. Heute wird es ebenso wie in alten Zeiten gemacht, doch die Menge ist sehr begrenzt, ein Winternebenprodukt der Bauern in Zeiten, wenn sie keine Feldarbeit haben. Seine Zähigkeit und Haltbarkeit ist berühmt. - Mit Schild in japanischer Sprache auf dem hinterem Vorsatzblatt, Seiten zum teil leicht stockfleckig.
