Moderne Literatur und Kunst – Die Original-Vorlage für das von Stefan Wewerka herausgegebene und zusammengestellte Heft, welches einer der wichtigsten Veröffentlichungen Rainers zur Architektur darstellt. Rainer, der seit Mitte der 1960er Jahre ein Atelier in Berlin unterhielt, wurde von O. M. Ungers eingeladen, seine Überlegungen zur Architektur in seiner an der TU Berlin herausgegebenen Reihe zur Theorie und Praxis der Architektur zu ordnen und zu veröffentlichen. "In seinen ausdrucksstark gedrängten Zeichnungen und den übermalten Fotografien von Gebäuden ging es Rainer nicht um Akte der Zerstörung, sondern um eine 'plastische Überabeitung der Stadträume und Bauten'." (Bettina Rudhof nach Rem Kohlhaas). Kohlhaas, ein Schüler von Ungers, nutzte diese Broschüre als Beispiel für seine eigenen Überlegungen und Konzepte zur Architektur für die Architekturbiennale 2014. - Eine Exemplar des gedruckten Heftes ist beigefügt. - Sehr gut erhalten.

Arnulf Rainer, who had a studio in Berlin since the mid 1960s, was invited by O. M. Ungers to organize and publish his reflections on architecture within his series on the theory and practise of architecture published at the TU Berlin. Kohlhaas, who was a pupil of Ungers, used this booklet as an example for his own contemplations and concepts of architecture for the Biennale of Architecture in 2014. A copy of the printed booklet is included. Very well preserved.
