Die Uniformen der Preussischen Garden, von ihrem Entstehen bis auf die neueste Zeit, nebst einer kurzen geschichtlichen Darstellung ihrer verschiedenen Formationen. Berlin, George Gropius, 1837. Tls. mit Akzenten in Gold- und Silberfarben. - Ränder gabräunt. Eine Seite lose. Tls. stärker fleckig. Insgesamt prachtvoll kolorierte Tafeln.
History – With 31 colored lithographic plates. Cardboard with gold-stamped spine title (heavily rubbed and bumped, joints broken). - With stamp of the University Library of Friedrich Wilhelm University Berlin. - Published in 9 installments between 1827 and 1840, the plates show the various uniforms of the Prussian army against magnificently illustrated backdrops. Some with accents in gold and silver colors. - Margins browned. One page loose. Some heavily stained. Overall, beautifully colored plates.
