Wilpert-Gühring 12 (für die Erstausgbe von 1761). - Enthält u.a. eine Reihe von Schriften zur Ästhetik, die Schiller und Lessing beeinflußten und auch von Kant postitiv beurteilt wurden. - Schnitt gering angestaubt, innen stellenweise gering gebräunt und mitunter mit kleinen Stockfleckchen, insgesamt gut erhaltenes Exemplar auf frischem, unbeschnittenem Papier.

Literature of 17th to 19th Century – Second edition of one of Mendelssohn's most influental works, illustrated with a fronispiece by J. W. Schleuen after J. H. Meil and 2 engraved illustrated title vignettes. Bound in contemporary wrappers made of paste paper. - For references see above. - Includes, among other things, a series of writings on aesthetics that influenced Schiller and Lessing and were also positively reviewed by Kant. - Edges slightly dusty, interior slightly browned in places and occasionally with small foxing spots, overall well-preserved copy on fresh, uncut paper.
