Ouvrages Inédits D'Abélard. Pour Servir a l'Histoire de la Philosophie Scolastique en France. Paris, Imprimerie Royale, 1836. 1 Bl., CCIII, 1 Bl., 677 S., 1 Bl. 4°. Ldr. mit RVergoldung und goldgepr. RSchild sowie DFileten und Eckfleurons (berieben und bestoßen, Rücken restauriert).
Literatur des 17. bis 19. Jahrhunderts – Sehr selten. - Mit montierter hs. Widmung "To the Editor of the Edinburgh Review at the Library of the Longman and Rees - London". - Mit Exlibris von "HB" auf vorderem Vorsatz. - Die unedierten Schriften von Petrus Abelardus (1079-1442) die hier erstmalig von dem französischen Philosophen und Übersetzer Victor Cousin (1792-1867) herausgegeben wurden. Ab 1835 waren Cousin Ehrenmitglied der Royal Society of Edinburgh. - Tls. stärker stockfleckig. Insgesamt gut erhalten.
Literature of 17th to 19th Century – Leather binding with gilt spine and gilt-stamped spine label, as well as filets and corner fleurons (rubbed and bumped, spine restored). - Very rare. - With mounted handwritten dedication "To the Editor of the Edinburgh Review at the Library of the Longman and Rees - London". - With bookplate of "HB" on the front endpaper. - The unedited writings of Peter Abelard (1079-1442), published here for the first time by the French philosopher and translator Victor Cousin (1792-1867). From 1835, Cousin was an honorary member of the Royal Society of Edinburgh. - Some foxing, but more pronounced. Overall in good condition.
