Manuskripte und Urkunden – Géza Falk war ein jüdisch-ungarischer Musikwissenschaftler und Komponist und Intendant des jüdischen Gymnasiums in Budapest. In seinen Kompositionen verwendete er traditionelle ungarische und jüdische Melodien und Motive. In seiner Tätigkeit als Autor und Musikwissenschaftler schrieb über 16 Bücher über das Werk Wagners und Beethovens sowie über die Musikgeschichte und seine Kompositionen wurden von mehreren Radiosendern in ganz Europa ausgestrahlt. Falk wurde 1945 als Opfer des Holocausts ermordet. - Ränder leicht gebräunt. Teils knapp beschnitten und leicht stockfleckig. Insgesamt gut erhalten.
Manuscripts – Music. - Half-cloth binding with gilt-stamped spine title. (Somewhat rubbed and bumped, joints cracked). - Géza Falk was a Jewish-Hungarian musicologist and composer, and director of the Jewish Gymnasium in Budapest. In his compositions, he used traditional Hungarian and Jewish melodies and motifs. As an author and musicologist, he wrote over 16 books on the works of Wagner and Beethoven, as well as on music history, and his compositions were broadcast by several radio stations throughout Europe. Falk was murdered in 1945 as a victim of the Holocaust. - Edges slightly browned. Partly trimmed close to the edge and slightly foxed. Overall in good condition.
