Sommerliche Landschaft mit Bauernhaus. 1875. Öl auf Leinwand auf Holz. 75 x 101 cm. Datiert und unleserlich signiert. Gerahmt, ungeöffnet. - Gefirnist und gegilbt, dezent craqueliert und stellenweise mit leichtem Abrieb. Insgesamt sehr gut, die Farben leuchtend.

Jhd. – Bei unserer Ansicht handelt es sich um eine Genremalerei mit der Darstellung eines idyllischen, alpinen Exterieurs mit Bauernhaus und einer Staffagefigur zur Rechten mit zwei Gänsen. Die atmosphärische Lichtführung des Werkes lässt spätromantische Einflüsse erahnen, während das Einfügen alltagsgegenständlicher Details auf Einflüsse des Realismus hindeutet.

Paintings, drawings and prints 16th to 19th century – Oil on canvas mounted on wood. Dated and signed (illegibly). Framed, unopened. - Varnished and yellowed, with subtle craquelure and slight wear in places. Overall in very good condition, with vibrant colours. - Our example is a genre painting depicting an idyllic Alpine exterior with a farmhouse and a figure on the right with two geese. The atmospheric lighting of the work suggests late Romantic influences, whilst the inclusion of everyday details points to influences of Realism.
