Zeichnungen zeigen u.a.: Denkmal der Freundschaft, 5 Soldaten mit Hund beim Eintrag in ein Stammbuch, Studierstube mit zwei Männern u. der Anmerkung "Lang geborgt und guth bezahlt ist nicht geschenkt", Mensur mit dem Vermerk "Steck ein lieber Krezer, und denk an den Schneider Jahrtag 1790", mit den in die Degen klein eingetragenen Namen "Peter Th:" u. "Wolf. Fer". - Im Anhang 3 Bl. Namensverzeichnis. - Mod. Monogrammstempel. - Innengelenke angeplatzt, tls. papierbedingt gebräunt, durchgängig etw. braun- u. fingerfleckig, 2 Bll. mit Ausschnitt, sonst insg. wohlerhalten.
Manuscripts – Rhineland-Palatinate - Liber amicorum with approx. 80 entries, mostly by law and theology students, 6 watercolours and watercoloured drawings, 1 pencil drawing and 6 silhouette portraits. Contemp. half leather with gilt edges, spine gilt and gilt stamped title 'Stammbuch' to spine (rubbed). - With entries, symbols and aphorisms from fraternity brothers of the 'high school in Mainz', including, among others, as listed above. - The watercolours and drawings depict, among other things: Monument of friendship, 5 soldiers with a dog writing in a liber amicorum, study room with two men and the note 'Long borrowed and well paid is not a gift' (trans.), duel, with the names 'Peter Th:' and "Wolf. Fer." entered in small letters on the swords - Appendix with 3 pages of names. - Modern monogram stamp. - Inner joints chipped, some browning due to paper, some brown and finger stains throughout, 2 pages with cut-outs, otherwise overall good condition.

A pickup of this work is possible in our premises at Potsdamer Str. 16, 14163 Berlin by appointment. If you wish a shipment of the work, please contact us for a consultation and shipping calculation. Framed tickets are shipped exclusively by a shipping company due to the risk of breakage. Postal shipping is only carried out at the express request and risk of the buyer.
