Occulta
Varia and Miscellaneous – Occult - With 8 folded engraved plates. Cont. cardboard binding with marbled boards, mounted label on spine and three-sided coloured edges (only slightly rubbed and bumped). - First edition. - Rare work by the author, who claims to be a devout Christian. D'Aguila wrote his vision of a geocentric universe in honor of the "Fondateur de cette sublime organisation", of the universe. In a large number of tables and explanations, he proves that the sun has an orbit and that the earth has its own orbit independently of all other celestial bodies, which at the same time forms the imaginary center of the universe. - The endpapers renewed, only a few pp. with inconspicuous pale brown spots. Altogether a very well-preserved and clean copy.
