Mounted in contemp. - The photographs show, among other things: Members of ship crews, including those of the SMS Niobe, Thetis, Iltis and Luchs (on deck, drinking, posing around ship propellers, etc.), Port Said, capsized ship (Phoenix), Hong Kong, Tsingtau (Diederichsstein), Shanghai (unveiling of the Iltis memorial in 1898, Club Concordia), cemetery of the Iltis crew, Tschinkiang, Anqing (Zhenfeng), Chinese women and other local people, street scenes, temples, ships and boats, the Great Wall of China, grave of Richard Kessler (SMS Luchs), Bangkok. - Occ. with copied descriptions (Chinese Gun Boat, Loong War Pagoda in Shanghai). - 1 print coloured. - Partially somewhat stained and with minor damage, occ. slightly faded or silvered, otherwise overall good condition.
