Disertatione Delle Persecuzioni sostenute da S. Atanasio, e del Simbolo a lui attribuito. Recitata a 23. di Giugno 1783. nell' Accademia Ecclesiastica da SS. Italienische Handschrift in schwarzer Tinte auf Bütten mit Wz. Mit gezeichneter vegetabiler Titelbordüre mit gekröntem Wappen. Rom, 18./19 Jh. 2 w., 14, 2 w. Bll. (je ca. 23 x 17,5 cm). Gr.-8°. Rotbraunes Ldr. d. Zt. mit dreis. Goldschnitt, vegetabiler RVerg., goldgepr. Stehkanten, beidseitigen Goldfileten, goldgepr. ornamentalen Bordüren, Eckfleurons sowie 2 gr. goldgepr. Wappensupralibros mit grünlicher Farbauflage (wenig fleckig, gering bestoßen).

Manuskripte und Urkunden – Reinschrift eines vor der 1701 gegründeten päpstliche Diplomatenakademie "Accademia dei Nobili Ecclesiastici" gehaltenen Vortrags über den Heiligen Athanasius. - Provenienz: Rosenthal, Catalogue XXVIII, Bibliotheca Catholico-Theologica altera, Première partie 1880, Nr. 254. - Goldgeprägtes Exlibris "Ex Musaeo Hans Fürstenberg" auf dem marmor. Vorsatzpapier. - Hint. w. Bl. mit Bleistiftvermerk (Fürstenbergs?) "given to Mrs Goeritz, London". - Vord. Innengelenk etw. angeplatzt, durchgehend etwas stockfleckig, Blattränder leicht wellig, insg. gut erhalten.
Manuscripts – Italian manuscript in black ink on laid paper with watermark. With drawn vegetal title border with crowned coat of arms. Rome, 18th/19th century. Contemp. red-brown leather with gilt edges, gilt stamped spine, standing edges, gilt stamped fillets, ornamental borders, corner fleurons and 2 large gilt stamped coat of arms supralibros with greenish colour coating (slightly stained, slightly bumped, cover somewhat loosened). - Copy of a lecture on St. Athanasius given at the papal diplomatic academy 'Accademia dei Nobili Ecclesiastici', founded in 1701. - Provenance: Rosenthal, Catalogue XXVIII, Bibliotheca Catholico-Theologica altera, Première partie 1880, no. 254. - Gilt stamped bookplate 'Ex Musaeo Hans Fürstenberg' on the marbled endpaper. - Back white sheet with pencil note (Fürstenberg's?) 'given to Mrs Goeritz, London'. - Front inner hinge slightly cracking, some foxing throughout, page edges slightly wavy, overall in good condition.
