Daguerrotypirte Ansichten der Hauptstädte und der schönsten Gegenden der Schweiz. Mit 4 (v. 16) lithographierten Daguerreotypien. Solothurn, Selbstverlag, 1844-1845. Lithographiert von J.F. Wagner, Bern. 45 x 35,5 cm. Lose in Original-Papierumschlag mit Titel (Umschlag mit Randläsuren, hinterer Umschlag mit Eckabriss, Rücken gebrochen und Ränder geräunt).

Geographie und Reisen – Werk der Schweizer Daguerreotypin Franziska Möller, die wohl als erste Frau in der Schweoz als Photographin tätig war. Ihr Mappenwerk mit 16 lithographierten Stadtbildern nach ihren Daguerreotypien veröffentlichte sie im Selbstverlag. Ihr Bruder war der Naturwissenschaftler Otto Möllinger. - Mit Ansichten von Unterseen, Oberer Reichenbach, Interlaken und Giessbach. - Vues daguerréotypées des villes capitales de la Suisse ainsi que des contrées les plus intéressantes de ce pays. Jeweils mit Legende in deutsch un französisch. - Im weißen Rand teils etwas braunfleckig bzw. gebräunt, Interlaken stärker. Vereinzelt kl. Randläsuren. Insgesamt gut erhaltene Exemplare.

Geography and Travel – With 4 (of 16) lithographed daguerreotypes. Lithographed by J.F. Wagner, Bern. Loose in original paper cover with title (cover with edge wear, back cover with corner tear, spine broken and edges frayed). - Work by the Swiss daguerreotypist Franziska Möller, who was probably the first woman to work as a photographer in Switzerland. She self-published her portfolio of 16 lithographed cityscapes based on her daguerreotypes. Her brother was the natural scientist Otto Möllinger. - With views of Unterseen, Oberer Reichenbach, Interlaken, and Giessbach. - Daguerreotyped views of the capital cities of Switzerland as well as the most interesting constituents of this country. Each with a legend in German and French. - Some brown spots or browning in the white margins, more pronounced in Interlaken. A few small edge tears. Overall, well-preserved specimens.

A pickup of this work is possible in our premises at Potsdamer Str. 16, 14163 Berlin by appointment. If you wish a shipment of the work, please contact us for a consultation and shipping calculation. Framed tickets are shipped exclusively by a shipping company due to the risk of breakage. Postal shipping is only carried out at the express request and risk of the buyer.
