Sammlung von 8 Darstellungen von Vogelarten. 1. Hälfte 19. Jh. Je Aquarell und Buntstift auf Velin. Blattmaße je 22 x 14 cm. 4 Arbeiten je auf Französisch mit Vogelart in Bleistift bezeichnet. Zudem je von fremder Hand mit Annotationen in Bleistift, auch verso. - Ränder teils leicht knickspurig. Etwas lager- und griffspurig. Partiell schwache Angilbungen und sehr vereinzelt leichte Braunflecken. Insgesamt sehr gut. Äußerst prachtvolle, naturgetreue und feinzeichnerisch ausgeführte Ansichten, in brillanten Farben festgehalten.

Naturwissenschaften – Beigegeben: 2 weitere Darstellungen von Vögeln in der gleichen Manier. 1 Arbeit auf festem, glattem Velinkarton, 1 Arbeit auf B& T Sweetapple Velin (mit WZ). - Dargestellt sind u. a. verschiedene Papagei- und Spechtarten. - Sowohl durch die zeichnerische Kraft und Detailgenauigkeit der zoologischen Darstellungen als auch durch die versierte Wahl der Buntstifte in Kombination mit Aquarellfarben ergibt sich sowohl ein starker Eindruck der künstlerischen Qualität der Darstellungen als auch eine verblüffend genuine Wiedergabe der Artenvielfalt und Pracht der Federkleider der Vögel.

Natural Sciences – Collection of 8 depictions of bird species. Each watercolour and coloured pencil on wove paper. 4 works inscribed in French with bird species in pencil. Each inscribed with annotations in pencil by another hand, also on the verso. - Margins partly slightly creased. Some storage and handling marks. Partial faint yellowing and very occasional light brown stains. Overall very good. Extremely splendid, lifelike and finely drawn impressions, captured in brilliant colours. - Enclosed: 2 further depictions of birds in the same manner. 1 work on firm, smooth wove paper, 1 work on B& T Sweetapple wove paper (with watermark). - Depictions include various species of parrots and woodpeckers. - Both the power of the drawings and attention to detail in the zoological depictions as well as the adept choice of coloured pencils in combination with watercolours give a strong impression of the artistic quality, showing furthermore an amazingly genuine reproduction of the diversity of species and the splendour of the birds' plumage.
