Naturwissenschaften – Zweite Ausgabe. - Nissen IVB, 1026. - Enthält eine Biographie der Wright Brüder am Ende des dritten Bands. - Die erste Ausgabe dieses Werkes über die Avifauna Schwedens erschien in dem Jahr 1828 und enthielt 184 lithographische Abbildungen. Als fast ein Jahrhundert später eine neue Ausgabe des Buches herausgebracht wurde, wurden die bereits zahlreichen Lithographien durch Reproduktionen von Originalen aus der Kungl. Vetenskaps-Akademien Stockholm und der Universitätsbibliothek Helsingfors ergänzt. - Papierränder minimal gebräunt. Insgesamt sehr gut erhaltene Exemplare mit farbprächtigen Lithographien.
Natural Sciences – Zoology. - Ornithology. - 3 vols. With 364 full-page color lithographs. Marbled calf with gilt-embossed cover vignette, gilt-embossed label and gilt on back board. Marbled edges. (Rubbed and bumped.) - Second edition. - Nissen IVB, 1026 - Contains a biography of the Wright brothers at the end of the third volume. - The first edition of this work on the avifauna of Sweden was published in 1828 and contained 184 lithographic illustrations. When a new edition of the book was published almost a century later, the already numerous lithographs were replaced by reproductions of originals from the Kungl. Vetenskaps-Akademien Stockholm and the Helsingfors University Library. - Paper margins minimally browned. Overall very well-preserved copies with colorful lithographs.
