Signiert und nummeriert. - Ganz vereinzelt sehr leichte Griffspur, Papier unten ganz leicht gewellt, unten links sehr leichte Knickspur, unten mittig punktueller, sehr blasser Fleck, verso unten rechts Rest eh. Klebespur, insgesamt sehr gut. Prachtvoller, fein nuancierter Druck mit leicht eingeprägter Plattenkante und breitem Rand, unten mit dem Schöpfrand.

Online - Moderne und zeitgenössische Kunst – Chuokoron Bijutsu Shuppan 61. - Eines von 50 Exemplaren. - In aufwendiger Manier des Mezzotinto geschaffene, ausgesprochen delikate Ansicht Pariser Häuser, die Hamaguchi angelehnt an seinen langjährigen Aufenthalt in der französischen Hauptstadt zu Blatt bringt. Der japanische Künstler ist in den 1930er und erneut in den 1950er Jahren in der europäischen Kunststadt, wo er sich verstärkt der Technik des Mezzotinto widmet. Die Metropole als Inspiration, staffelt er die Häuserdächer in Reihen übereinander und fängt sie in subtil unterlegten Farbastufungen ein. Assoziationen an verschiedene Tageszeiten, in die die Stadt gehüllt ist, eröffnen einen visuell sphärischen Raum.
