Bellatrix. 1959. Kaltnadel in Rostrot und Farbaquatinta auf BFK Rives-Velin (m.Wz.). 33,7 x 29,2 cm (65,8 x 50,3 cm). Signiert und nummeriert. - Vereinzelte leichte Griffspuren, leichte Knickspur in oberer linker Ecke, verso leicht angestaubt, zwei Nadellöchlein, insgesamt sehr gut. Ganz ausgezeichneter, stellenweise herrlich gratiger Druck der tachistischen Komposition mit deutlich eingeprägter Plattenkante und breitem Rand, an zwei Seiten mit dem Schöpfrand.

Very superb, mostly wonderfully burr-like impression with clearly impressed platemark and wide margin, deckle edge on two sides. - One of 250 copies. - Annual gift by Kestner-Gesellschaft, Hannover, with their typographical stamp on the verso.
