So Sweet Sundae. Porzellan (2 Teile). 33 x 12 x 12 cm. Mit Originalverpackung (Holzbox, 45 x 18 x 23,5 cm). - Insgesamt sehr gut. Brilliantes zweiteiliges Set, mit leuchtenden Farben.
Pop Art – Eines von 99 Exemplaren. Objekt Eisbecher. Ed. Rosenthal studio-line.
Pop Art – Porcelain (2 pieces). With original packaging (wooden box, 45 x 18 x 23.5 cm). - Overall very good condition. Brilliant two-piece set with vibrant colours.- One of 99 copies. Warhol's work is characterised by the consistent combination of art and mass culture. Using industrial reproduction techniques such as screen printing and the serial repetition of iconic motifs, he questions the concepts of originality and authorship. His works reflect both the fascination and criticism of a society shaped by consumerism and a flood of media images. This conflict is particularly evident in his work 'So Sweet Sundae'. In typical Pop Art fashion, Warhol transforms the banal motif of an ice cream sundae into an object that is somewhere between art and luxury item. With his characteristic ambivalence between seduction and distance, Warhol reflects on the fetishistic nature of everyday consumer objects and transfers them into the context of aesthetic contemplation.
