o.T. Um 1970. Braun glasierte Keramik. 23 x 14 x 12 cm. Unterhalb der Standfläche mit eingeritzter Signatur. - Nur vereinzelt und punktuell mit minimaler und kaum merklicher Bereibung. Insgesamt sehr gut. Prachtvoll organisch-schmiegsam ausmodellierte Arbeit.
Britische Moderne – Tim Orr, 1940 in England geboren, ist ein vielseitiger Bildhauer, Keramiker und Maler. Seit 1960 lebt und arbeitet er in Frankreich. Gemeinsam mit seiner Frau Jacqueline bildete er ein kreatives und experimentierfreudiges Künstlerduo, das sich intensiv mit der künstlerischen Gestaltung von Porzellan auseinandersetzte. Beide realisierten zahlreiche Projekte im öffentlichen Raum. Nach dem Tod von Jacqueline 1989 zog Orr nach Brissac wo er seitdem lebt und arbeitet.
British Post War – Brown glazed ceramic. Engraved signature beneath the base. Only isolated and sporadic few spots with minimal and barely noticeable rubbing. Overall in very well preserved condition. Splendid, organically and smoothly modelled work. - Tim Orr, born in England in 1940, is a versatile sculptor, ceramist and painter. He has lived and worked in France since 1960. Together with his wife Jacqueline, he formed a creative and experimental artist duo that focused intensively on the artistic design of porcelain. Both realised numerous projects in public spaces. After Jacqueline's death in 1989, Orr moved to Brissac, where he has lived and worked ever since.
