Geometrische Abstraktion – Seltene Arbeit aus dem Frühwerk. - Die Gouache zeichnet sich durch eine klare, geometrisch-abstrakte Gestaltung mit konzentrischen Kreisen, Segmenten und Farbflächen, rautenförmiger Anordnung, sowie weitere Kreise aus. Die Komposition ist streng symmetrisch und wirkt wie eine konstruktivistische Studie zur Farbdynamik und zum Zusammenspiel von Flächen und Linien. Typisch für Gessner sind die klare Farbabstufung, die Präzision der geometrischen Formen und die mathematisch anmutende Ordnung.
