Ohne Titel (Nachtgestalten). 1956. Acryl auf Leinwand. 52 x 66 cm. Leinwand im Rahmen montiert (ungeöffnet). - Leinwand leicht gewellt aufgrund des Arbeitsprozesses. Partielle Lösung minimaler Farbpartikel. Farbe weist kaum sichtbare, sehr feine Risse in der linken Figur auf. - Insgesamt sehr gut. Ausgezeichnetes Werk mit leuchtenden Farben.

Bauhaus

Klassische Moderne – Wkvz: 4600. Fritz Kuhr gehört zum Zirkel der Bauhausschüler. Ab 1923 studierte er in Weimar und Dessau und wurde dort von Lehrern wie Paul Klee, Wassily Kandinsky und László Moholy-Nagy nachhaltig geprägt. Aus dieser Schule der formalen Reduktion und des experimentellen Denkens entwickelte Kuhr eine Bildsprache, in der Struktur, Farbe und Bewegung in ein sensibles Gleichgewicht treten. Seine Arbeiten zeichnen sich durch eine ruhige, rhythmische Ordnung und eine subtile, oft atmosphärische Farbigkeit aus.

Classical Modernism – Acrylic on canvas. Canvas mounted in frame (unopened). - Canvas slightly wavy due to the working process. Partial loosening of minimal paint particles. Paint shows barely visible, very fine cracks in the left figure. - Overall very good. Superb work with bright colours. - C.R. 4600 . Fritz Kuhr belongs to the circle of Bauhaus students. From 1923 onwards, he studied in Weimar and Dessau, where he was profoundly influenced by teachers such as Paul Klee, Wassily Kandinsky and László Moholy-Nagy. From this school of formal reduction and experimental thinking, Kuhr developed a visual language in which structure, colour and movement enter into a sensitive balance. His works are characterised by a calm, rhythmic order and a subtle, often atmospheric colourfulness.
