Beltza III. 1969. Holzschnitt auf zartem Japan. 40 x 40 cm (62 x 94 cm). Signiert und nummeriert. Mit Trockenstempel der Erker Presse, St. Gallen. - Papierbedingt im Blattrand leicht und unscheinbar knickspurig. Insgesamt sehr gut. Prachtvoller Druck, die Holzmaserung kräftig und klar mitdruckend, mit breitem Rand.

Spanische Moderne – Van der Koelen 69006. - Eines von 75 Exemplaren. - Druck und Herausgeber: Erker Presse St. Gallen. - Eduardo Chillida befasste sich in seinem Werk intensiv mit den Phänomenen von Raum und Zeit und widmete sein gesamtes künstlerisches Schaffen der Erforschung der komplexen Beziehungen zueinander. Er arbeitete überwiegend bildhauerisch, doch schuf auch in seinen Papierarbeiten anhand der klaren Reduktion der Farbpalette sowie durch komprimierte Darstellungen komplexe Bildräume.

Splendid impression, the wood grain strongly and clearly imprinted, with wide margins. - One of 75 copies. - Printed and published by Erker Presse St. Gallen. - In his work, Eduardo Chillida explored the phenomena of space and time thoroughly and dedicated his entire artistic oeuvre to researching the complex relationships to one another. He mainly worked in sculpture, but also created complex pictorial spaces in his works on paper by means of a clear reduction of the colour palette and compressed depictions.
