Fluxus – Mit pastosem Pinselstrich entworfenes Gemälde, das auf Mallorca entstand und mit dem Thomas Virnich die Eindrücke der mediterranen Umgebung in einer rhytmischen Choreographie von Farbe, Fläche und Materialstruktur reflektiert, ohne dabei konkrete Landschaften abzubilden. Stattdessen nutzt Virnich abstrakte Formen und fast skulptural wirkende, voluminös-pastose Farbfelder, um die Atmosphäre und das Licht Mallorcas einzufangen. Die abstrahierte Bildsprache bleibt offen für Assoziationen von mediterranem Licht, geologischen Formationen und atmosphärischer Dichte, doch verweigert Virnich jede narrative Auflösung zugunsten einer malerischen Autonomie. Das Werk fungiert so als visuelles Resonanzfeld, in dem subjektive Wahrnehmung, landschaftliche Erfahrung und künstlerische Reflexion eine vielschichtige Verbindung eingehen.

Overall very good with a strong and intensive abstract composition in impasto oil colour. - A painting created in Mallorca with impasto brushstrokes, in which Thomas Virnich reflects the impressions of the Mediterranean environment in a rhythmic choreography of colour, surface and material structure, without depicting concrete landscapes. Instead, Virnich uses abstract forms and almost sculptural, voluminous, pastose colour fields to capture the atmosphere and light of Mallorca. The abstract pictorial language remains open to associations of Mediterranean light, geological formations and atmospheric density, but Virnich refuses any narrative resolution in favour of painterly autonomy. The work thus functions as a visual resonance field in which subjective perception, landscape experience and artistic reflection enter into a multi-layered connection.
