Online - Moderne und zeitgenössische Kunst – Das Projekt 1001 wurde 1996 von dem Kunstsammler Ralf Seilheimer ins Leben gerufen. Er schrieb 1001 Künstlerinnen und Künstlern mit der Bitte, ihm auf einer nummerierten Blancokarte (10,5 x 14,8 cm) ein kleines Kunstwerk zu erschaffen und per Post an ihn zurückzusenden. Diese Arbeit ist Nr. 540.
