Konzeptkunst
Online - Moderne und zeitgenössische Kunst – Schellmann 07. - Eines von 1200 Exemplaren. - Herausgegeben vom VICE Versand, Remscheid 1968.
Online - Modern and Contemporary Art – Wooden box with pencil drawing. Signed and dated on the verso and with the publisher's red stamp. Titled on the inside. - Overall very good and immaculate. - Schellmann 07. - One of 1200 copies. - Published by VICE Versand, Remscheid 1968. - The work "Intuition" by Joseph Beuys is a simple wooden box in A4 format, which was produced in 1968 in an edition of around 12,000 copies. It was originally offered for just 8 German marks, which was intended to underline the democratisation of art and the break with traditional art markets in Beuys' sense. In the socially charged climate of the late 1960s, particularly in 1968, Beuys formulated a clear anti-thesis to materialism, technocratic thinking and the primacy of rationality with this work. Instead, he focuses on the creative power of human intuition - as an intellectual resource and starting point for knowledge, creativity and social change.
