Moderne Literatur und Kunst – Eines von 470 nummerierten Exemplaren auf "papier blanc du Marais" (Gesamtauflage 500). Vorliegendes Exemplar gedruckt für Rudolf Severinski. - Die Tafeln abgezogen bei Charles Wittmann. - Unter den Darstellungen "Un Jour de pluie à Paris" von Alfred Stieglitz. - Der 1894 von Robert Demachy und Constant Puyo gegründete Photo-Club de Paris war das französische Äquivalent des Camera Club of New York und des Linked Ring in London, beides Vereinigungen von Photographen, die sich der aufkommenden Philosophie des Piktorialismus verschrieben hatten. - Unser Exemplar wurde aus konservatorischen Gründen in seine einzelnen Lagen aufgeschnitten und in eine moderne Kassette gelegt. - Original-Umschlag und Text etwas stockfleckig, gebräunt und leicht angestaubt, Hinterdeckel etwas angerändert. Die Tafeln weitgehend sauber. Die Kassette minimal stockfleckig.

Modern Literature and Art – One of 470 numbered copies on "papier blanc du Marais" (total edition 500). This copy was printed for Rudolf Severinski. - The plates were printed by Charles Wittmann. - Among the illustrations is "Un Jour de pluie à Paris" by Alfred Stieglitz. - Founded in 1894 by Robert Demachy and Constant Puyo, the Photo-Club de Paris was the French equivalent of the Camera Club of New York and the Linked Ring in London, both associations of photographers dedicated to the emerging philosophy of pictorialism. - For conservation reasons, our copy has been cut into its individual layers and placed in a modern box. - Original cover and text slightly foxed, browned, and slightly dusty, back cover slightly damaged. The plates are largely clean. The box is minimally foxed.
